European Business School (EBS)

European Business School (EBS) is the oldest private state-recognized business school in Germany and is among the top 5 business economics faculties in the country. Guided by the principle „We develop leaders“, EBS delivers international management education and training. In the Bachelor's programmes science and practice are closely interwoven. EBS maintains close working ties with approximately 160 corporate partners, including many Dax-listed companies. EBS network of institutions available for study semesters abroad spans 150 partner universities.

With 210 ECTS credits earned in just three years, the Bachelor of Science degree programme has set the standard in Germany. In addition to a sound grounding in business administration and economics, EBS' students acquire specialist knowledge in one of the four study tracks Business Law, Business Information Systems, Business Languages, or International Business Studies. Available since autumn 2006, the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management specifically targets the education of future managers in the air transport sector.

In the area of postgraduate education EBS offers a wide array of programmes including Master's programmes in Management, Business & Law, Finance, and Real Estate, an MBA, Executive MBAs in the fields of General Management and Health Care Management, an Executive Master in Business Innovation and various non-degree programmes, certificate programmes, corporate programmes, and a coaching programme. Since 1993, EBS has the right to award doctoral degrees and post-doctoral qualifications.

The so-called "soft" success factors play an important role in shaping the EBS' curriculum. In the studium universale students learn to deal with important philosophical and ethical issues, sharpening their awareness of management's particular corporate responsibility and effectively promoting integrated thinking and acting.
