Envirofitfashion is all about environmental fashion – sustainable design, new technologies, self-expression through items and overall image, fashionable movements and environmental ideas that inspires us to create, live and act with more responsibility in elegant twist.
Envirofitfashion is not just a webpage promoting sustainable fashion, it’s not just an uncountable source of information for those who find themselves interested either in fashion, either in environment. This is a brand symbolizing a way of thinking, the feeling that gives a value of understanding, the value of information and inspiration.
Our mission is to create awareness and promote environmental fashion.
Our vision is to become the host and the power of sustainably oriented community all over the world.
Envirofitfashion presents their project:
The birth of the idea – we are lithuanians, second-year students – Ramune Tumasonyte and Viktorija-Agne Mackeviciute, who study fashion business in one of the most environmentaly oriented countries – Denmark. It is hard not to admire the idea of ecological fashion. The willingness to start acting and sharing the knowledge gained was encouraged by the organizers of IMPACT - social entreprenuership competition in Germany. The idea was cristalized in a week in their summer school that was held in Bremen.
The development of the idea – we created a webpage, searched for information, participated in various events and fashion presentations related with sustainable ideas. We paid interest in our own academy‘s TEKO (Denmark) information collected and the experience, the innovations in smart textiles labaratories, which were honoured with the visit of the Queen of Denmark.
Promoting the idea – we are trying to get as much as possible attention from young people using such movements as Flashmob and „Lipdub“. This is a good chance to unite active people letting them think and act in one direction together with the ecological fashion.
The dies – the traditional business office item was used as a advertising tool – it‘s not only our name and logo (Envirofitfashion – It Fits You!) that will appear on various places in Europe that we have visited. This is an entertainment that every person could get with the funny phrase he has created, for example – „I am cool designer“ and leave prints everywhere you could imagine.
Future plans – creating clothing and accessories without side effects to human health and environment. Offer more movements and events that would encourage the society pay interest in technical innovations and the opportunities to implement responsible fashion business ideas daily.
